Trinity Place Holdings Inc. (“TPHS”) was founded in 2012 and is headquartered in New York City.
We are a strong and dynamic team with decades of experience in all aspects of real estate development, finance, leasing, and asset management. Our board of directors consists of seasoned business leaders who share their depth and diversity of experiences in real estate with the management team. We own, invest in, manage, develop and redevelop real estate assets and real estate-related securities. Our largest single asset is currently 77 Greenwich Street (aka the Trinity Place Property), a 300,000 SF mixed-use condominium project which is currently under development in Lower Manhattan.
In the retail sector, we own a neighborhood shopping center anchored by Wal-Mart Marketplace located in West Palm Beach, Florida, and a retail box in Paramus, New Jersey currently under redevelopment. We also control a growing platform of newly-constructed multifamily assets including co-ownership of The Berkley in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and 100% ownership of 237 11th Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
We control a variety of intellectual property assets focused on the consumer sector which includes the rights to the Filene’s Basement® trademark and the Stanley Blacker® brand, and the intellectual property associated with the Running of the Brides® event and An Educated Consumer is Our Best Customer® slogan. We also manage FilenesBasement.com where customers can purchase high fashion at discount prices online. In addition, the company maintains hundreds of millions of dollars of federal and state tax losses.
